I started writing an entry while I was at home, but it didn't really work out seeing that nothing keeps the screen up... so. XD; I guess I'll rewind to yesterday.
Yesterday morning, Cait woke me up and I started to play Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town some more, since I wasn't really quite sure if I wanted to go to UMass with her or not. So then I finally made the decision to go, and basically ended up playing the game the entire way there. Dad and I helped Cait bring some stuff up to her room, and Chris was there too, so Cait and Dad helped him. I pretty much paid Chris back, and he gave me the Farewell to Arms CD. :D But I'd forgotten my CD player. *sucks* But yeah... after that, Dad and I went home, and it was pretty quiet. I always get depressed after they leave or I leave or whatever, so that kind of overshadowed the next few hours.
When I got home, I listened to the CD, and I really liked it. :D Caitlin and Chris will say it's becaues it's depressing :P but I really do like it. XD So yay. :D I can't remember many of the songs they played when we saw them at the Webster Underground in August, but yeah. ^^ I like. :D
I also talked to Steph a bit, and played more of my game... Popuri finally got to a purple heart the day after her birthday. And I just RANDOMLY gave Cliff a present because I tend to give one to Grey and Popuri every day and run out of ones for him, but that day I didn't, and it happened to be his birthday. XD So that made me happy. XD; *dork* And my chicken kicked ass at the chicken fighting competition thing. :D; I got to the semi-finals and then got completely owned. And then retried and lost in the first round pretty badly... but yeah. :D; I talked to Sam for a bit, too, but then Dad kicked me off his computer. XD; So. I was supposed to move some of my things onto a removable hard drive thing that he gave me, but I was too tired. I sorta-kinda watched the Golden Globes last night, but Nip/Tuck didn't win anything. The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King won best soundtrack, though~ that's pretty much all I remember, that and 24 winning best... drama, I believe? I've been meaning to watch that series, but I never catch it when it starts.
After sleeping horribly, as I have been for the past two or three nights, I woke up to Mom leaving, and then just before Jim got here. I guess he wanted to go see Jim or Bill or something, since normally he wouldn't be home. XD; But he printed something off Dad's comp, and I got ready, said bye to him, and went down to the bus. I'm glad that I left when I did, since I kind of almost missed the bus, and that would have sucked if I had.
I read some of my Abnormal Psychology assignment on the way to class (about half of it), and it was enough to get me through today's class, so yay for me. :D; We didn't take very much note-wise, and I started a letter to Ryoko before class started, so hopefully I'll finish that tonight. :D We also watched a really short video, which was rather sobering toward the end, and had a discussion about thigns that weren't really related to the notes. XD; So. XD;
Then in Fundamentals of Music, we went over sharps and flats and stuff. :D; I hate accidentals. XD; And the chromatic scale. Mr. Hammel knew I hated it too, heh. ^^; BUT YEAH. I don't really understand why you would ever want to use a double sharp or a double flat... I figure I'll learn that in time. :D; Most of what we've done so far is stuff that I already know, which is nice, and I'm just learning it a lot better/remembering it now. :D; Yay for me. Like I finally understand why certain notes that are sharp or flat have equivalents and yeah, stuff that I simply memorized before and didn't really understand why that's the way it was. I think this is going to be the class this semester where I learn the most, kind of like how Zoology was last semester. :D
Then I called Dad and asked him to bring me five bucks, played Harvest Moon some more, and it felt like it took forever for him to get here. But, five dollars in hand, I finally got lunch, which is always a good thing, and talked to Rob about the Sims while he, Jay, and I were down at lunch. XD It makes me want to go install that on the laptop again, but I need to go find Livin' Large, because it's just not the same without it. But I *heart* the Suikoden Sims that Sammers sent me. XD
After that, it was time for Psychology of the Mass Media, so after checking to see what room it was in, I went there. A lot of what the packet was about was review for me, and just really in-depth. Like... it was a lot about cognitive dissonance, which was covered in probably a paragraph in Psych 107, and then in this packet they wrote like TWENTY pages about it, which I thought was rather unnecessary, seeing that I thought they got their point across within the first couple of pages. But oh well, maybe it's just me. :D; I've already read the majority of what we went over today, so it's okay that I didn't finish that packet, since we have until Wednesday's class to finish it. But now I have to finish that one (a little over half of it) and start the next one before Wednesday. :D; Thankfully, the second packet is only about 10-12 pages, so it's not that much.
Now that I've babbled about my classes far more than I should have... ^^; I have to go down to the bus soon. Not looking forward to getting home at 4:00, but oh well, I guess. Tomorrow I don't get home until 5:00, so. As long as I don't miss my transfer home, I should be fine. If I do... then I do believe I'm screwed, seeing that I think that's the last bus to go home. :D; I'll have to check the schedule~ and see when Dad gets out of work. Maybe I can make this work in my favor somehow. XD;
CSI: Miami tonight! :D
